Burundi Project
Five Talents started work in Burundi on 23 February 2010, with a training course for church leaders and facilitators who will go on to train groups of people in financial literacy and business skills. The training seeks to reach 8,000 over three years. The partnership is carried out with the Mothers' Union of Burundi and this first phase is part-funded by a Swedish foundation called Lakarmissionen.
Suzanne Schultz, the Programme Director from Five Talents' International office, is leading the initial training course, which will then be carried forward by local trainers. We are grateful to Mothers' Union headquarters in London for their cooperation in this exciting new programme.
