Haiti Appeal
We ask for your prayers for those who have been affected by the terrible tragedy in Haiti. Although Five Talents does not have a programme in Haiti our partners, the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic and Esperanza are hard at work helping their neighbours on the other side of the island. They have appealed to us to let you know of their efforts.
"A good portion of the relief going into Haiti will go through the Dominican Republic and much of it will be purchased there. Food, medicines, and other supplies are readily available in the DR. Bishop Julio Holguin is channelling emergency relief to help his sister Haitian Church through the Dominican Episcopal Church - first with emergency relief and later to help with rebuilding."
