International Award

Five Talents is pleased to announce its latest achievement: the International Prize for Global Citizenship, awarded by Sustain Magazine on 2nd March 2010.

The awards ceremony, held in The Great Hall at Chelsea Football Club, brought together a diverse crowd from both public and private sectors involved in all forms of sustainability through their respective industries.

Sustain recognized the unique contribution of Five Talents to the continuing effort of advancing sustainable development on a global scale. Five Talents projects have proven to be ground-breaking and strategic as our organization moves forward in the process of fighting poverty, creating jobs and transforming lives.

Rachel Millward, Development Director for Five Talents UK, accepted the award and says “This is a tremendous encouragement for the work of Five Talents and for our microfinance partners in developing countries.”
