Microfinance crisis in Andhra Pradesh
There has been a lot of media coverage of the “Microfinance Crisis” in Andhra Pradesh in India. The BBC1 TV Newsnight programme had a feature on the crisis on 20th January 2011. The Economist magazine, the Financial Times, as well as the Washington Post, NY Times etc. have all run stories over the last few weeks and months.
