Microfinance just blew me away
The very first time that I heard about Five Talents, I couldn’t believe that I had never been told about microfinance before!
What blew me away was the beauty and efficiency of the financial ‘model’ , with the repeated reuse of gifted money, recycling it again and again; the way that it enabled people to help themselves, that such small amounts could make such disproportionate changes in families lives, the way that it was a part of the church’s overall, lifewide ministry to its members....and the brilliant, honest, inspiring people that worked the system through the projects... it is surely the Gospel in action!

Everything about it made me feel that God loves the system, and smiles as He sees it working! I cannot think of a single more effective, abundantly productive way of using money in and for God’s Kingdom!
And now, having worked for Five Talents for two years, I am a million times more sure of it; I have seen NOTHING, in Croydon, at Exhibitions, but more importantly, in the Projects that I have had the privilege to visit and interrogate, NOTHING that has undermined by one iota my belief that it is God’s work!
Indeed, I thank God every day that I can be part of His plan with Five Talents in encouraging, supporting and building up the lives of the poor of the world through a system with such integrity, such loving governance and such care for the individual! Thank Him for His faithfulness in prospering it!
