Introduction

Five Talents is the microfinance development initiative of the worldwide Anglican church. The church provides a ready made infrastructure – a physical presence of people and premises at the heart of even the remotest communities. This makes Five Talents programmes both effective in their ability to reach local communities and highly efficient because set-up costs are negligible.

The majority of staff are recruited, trained and employed locally in the individual projects to help administer the programmes.

The UK office started in October 2005. It is currently staffed by Tom Sanderson, the UK Director, plus Rachel Millward, the Development Director, Anna Pienaar, the Programme Analyst and Institutional Fundraiser, and Vanessa Anderson, the Office Manager. The Charity is led by 10 Trustees. See the side menu to view their profiles.

Lord Brian Griffiths

I am very committed to Five Talents and seeing it grow into a major micro-finance initiative
