Margaret Sentamu
Margaret is currently working as the diversity and recruitment consultant for the Anglican Province of York. She was born and raised in Uganda, where she studied English literature at Makerere University before coming to the UK in the early 1970's. She is married to the Archbishop of York, John Sentamu. Up until recently Margaret was Consultant and Head of Diversity at Odgers Ray & Berndtson recruitment consultants. She also serves on a variety of governing bodies and councils and is a trustee for a number of charities such as Tradecraft plc. Both she and the Archbishop are enrolled members of the Mothers' Union.
