In Rwanda, 76% of women in savings groups have changed their farming practices in response to climate change, using new skills to grow food for their families and sell at market.

Since 2022, Five Talents has been working with local partners in Rwanda to build sustainable livelihoods through the power of community savings, enterprise training and trusted partnerships with the Anglican Church.
In a country shaped by resilience and renewal, the Five Talents model equips individuals - especially women - with the tools to lead transformation: in their families, their communities and the wider economy.

Known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills,” Rwanda is home to over 13 million people. While the country has experienced strong economic growth, rural families - who make up the majority of the population - still face major barriers to financial services, reliable income and opportunity.
Women are disproportionately excluded, yet they are also the driving force of recovery. With the right tools and support, they are rebuilding communities from the ground up.
The Five Talents Rwanda programme began with female-led households vulnerable to hunger and financial instability.
Today, it is:
-
- Strengthening financial inclusion in rural and underserved areas
- Supporting female leadership and entrepreneurship
- Building long-term economic resilience in the face of climate and market pressures
