Nowtash Alsafar is Head of Sports Capital Markets at 54, a global sports and entertainment group that creates new sports IP, and scales, operates, and invests across the industry.
Prior to joining 54, he was managing investment director of a multi-strategy fund. Earlier in his career, Nowtash began as a private equity lawyer at Clifford Chance, where he advised clients on acquisitions across Europe, Asia, and North America. He also has experience founding and scaling technology start-ups, and has a strong interest in supporting entrepreneurs. In addition, he served on the board of governors of the primary school he previously attended and is passionate about equality of access to education.
In his spare time, Nowtash enjoys reading, playing football, and complaining about the club he supports.
