Reflecting on her appointment as an Ambassador, Rita said: ‘As an entrepreneur myself, born in Tanzania, I am delighted to become an ambassador for Five Talents UK. Empowerment and enterprise go hand in hand, and I know that the amazing work of Five Talents enables women in central and eastern Africa to truly bring about transformation for their families and communities.’
In welcoming Rita to the Five Talents UK family as an Ambassador, Co-CEO Kris Coppock said: ‘We are so grateful for Rita’s support and her endorsement of the work of Five Talents. Her dynamism and commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs is inspiring, and we are looking forward to working collaboratively in the months and years ahead. This is an exciting period of growth for Five Talents. Our mission of supporting community-led partnerships in rural areas of central and eastern Africa is as important as ever; enabling those who have little or no access to financial education and services to begin Savings Groups where they receive training and support to set-up and grow small businesses.”
