The Five Talents mission is to see lives transformed through economic empowerment.
Through partnership with local church and community networks we enable marginalised people, particularly women, to come together to learn, earn, save and invest. Throughout this process we celebrate our Christian faith and foundations, whilst honouring and working alongside those of all faiths and none. We are passionate about inclusive investment that sees lives transformed.

UN Millennium Goals
Five Talents advances the UN Millennium Goals by reducing poverty, promoting gender equality, and fostering economic growth through savings groups and microfinance, empowering vulnerable communities - especially women - with sustainable incomes and stronger local influence.
For over two decades, Five Talents has walked alongside marginalised women and communities in rural Africa, long before “locally led” became a sector buzzword. Our model has always been rooted in local leadership and implemented by our incredible partners, with women driving transformation and climate resilience built into everyday solutions. We don’t impose programmes from the outside; programme partners nurture agency and resilience from the heart of the community. This means people are not just empowered economically - but harness the power of what they have to create lasting change, owned and led from within.
At a time when international aid is being squeezed out of government budgets, the impacts of conflict and climate change are forcing more people into poverty. Five Talents' proven, cost-effective approach leverages the power and potential people already have.
