Five Talents UK has become the official charity partner of London based global network, Women in Finance group.
Women in Finance group has a mission to foster collaboration and build a strong business community of like-minded, mid to senior level women through networking and content-driven events. The group aims to build a community of women across the world who thrive in a finance career and to be part of a change that leads to women feeling empowered and in-charge of their careers across the industry. Since its foundation in 2021 the group has flourished and now has a network of over 1500 members in London and New York, with events also hosted across Europe.
Speaking about the collaboration with Five Talents UK, Anu Chhabra-Coulter, Founder of Women In Finance, said:
‘The women in our network sit at the top of global finance. The women Five Talents serves are building businesses from the ground up. What unites us is the same conviction: that when women have access to financial knowledge and capital, everything changes. We are proud to stand alongside Five Talents in that mission.”
Rachel Lindley, Co-CEO of Five Talents, said:
‘Five Talents seek to empower women in some of the most marginalised communities in rural Africa through financial literacy and savings groups. Today over 59,000 families are part of a Five Talents programme partnership; support which means resilience when there are food shortages and climate change impacts, more girls able to go to school and more women taking on leadership roles within their community. It is fantastic that Women in Finance is looking to reach out in this way and support an even broader mission of female empowerment and transformation.’
