Celebrating impact & looking beyond 2027

Celebrating impact & looking beyond 2027

As we reflect on our five-year growth strategy and begin setting the course beyond 2027, you are not an audience to that story, but its authors. Thank you.

This specially dedicated page of our website is an opportunity to pause; to take stock of the ground we have covered together, and to build on conversations from the Celebrating Impact event on the 14th September.

Today there are 59,253 members in Five Talents savings groups. They live in the most marginalised and least-resourced communities in rural Africa – the places capital rarely reaches – and it is there, alongside our partners, that the most significant transformation is taking hold. Here we touch again on some of that impact data, and the individual and inspirational member stories which underpin it all.

Watch the video again. Sit with the stories. Send us your reflections.

We want to hear about your journey with Five Talents, and your hopes as we look beyond 2027.

"Children are taken to school to learn and have bright futures. Through savings, members are able to buy goats and open businesses; thus helping to generate income and making it easy for children to study."

Member stories

Growth in income and membership is encouraging. But numbers alone don’t capture what’s being built across these communities in rural Africa - and that’s the true message of this strategic growth period.

The data shows that your investment has paid a dividend measured not in a single year or even five year period, but across generations.

That is what is shaping our thinking as we look beyond 2027 – and it is why your reflections and continued partnership matters so much.
